Shortly after the birth of her son, Brady, Emily Ley was pacing circles around her house, taking client calls and trying to pacify a teething infant. While on the phone with her dear friend, Lara, she tearfully mumbled these words not realizing that they would become a mantra for her life and the lives of women all over the world. The meaning of this phrase is found in 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may dwell within me.
